Hafa Adai and Greetings from the 2008 Liberation Day Organizational Committee!

Each Liberation Day, celebrated on July 21st, our island community focuses its attention to mark this historic event and remember and honor the courage and sacrifice of those who died so that we might have the many freedoms that we enjoy today. .

We are now once again gearing up for our annual Liberation Day Parade and hope that you and your organization or business will be a participant.

Raffle Drawing Results
Hagatna, GU -- The 2008 Liberation Day festivities officially ended yesterday with a raffle drawing of $10,000 in cash prizes at the Chamorro

Village.  Six winning ticket numbers were randomly selected from all tickets sold during the Liberation Day Festivities. Ticket holders did not

need to be present at last night’s raffle to win.

Winners have ten working days from today to claim their cash prize. The winning ticket numbers are:

Ticket Number 73719, L. Meno                6th Prize, $500.00
Ticket Number 00096, Luis                       5th Prize, $500.00
Ticket Number 69436, Isabel Jacasalem    4th Prize, $500.00
Ticket Number 68735, Mike                      Mini Grand Prize, $1000.00
Ticket Number 77915, Annie                     Baby Grand Prize, $2500.00
Ticket Number 64393, NO NAME           Grand Prize, $5,000.00

Winning ticket stubs must be presented to Jeremy Rojas, Liberation Finance Committee Chair on or before August 14th 2008 at the Guam Housing Corporation, located on the 5th floor of the ITC Building, Suite 535 in Tamuning.
